Brown Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown rice (uncooked)
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup almonds, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

‍ Instructions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Place all ingredients in a rice cooker and cook until the water evaporates, about 30 minutes.
  3. Fluff cooked rice with a fork.
